Competing Skipper 2006 -- Roger Dougal
Roger Dougal has been racing his J24 Tutakrnaut around the southeast and on his home waters of Lake Murray SC for about 15 years. The team has big success in little regattas and little success in big regattas but they always have fun sailing. The photo below shows the crew after winning the 2005 J24 District Championship at the Hospice Regatta at Western Carolina Sailing Club on Lake Hartwell, SC. Left to right, Justin Theriot, Allison Calhoun, Stanton Bost, Roger Dougal, and Chris Calhoun.

Action photos below show Stanton Bost (spinnaker trimmer) and Chris Calhoun (foredeck) in an approach to the weather mark at the recent Easter J24 Regatta on Lake Murray, and skipper Roger Dougal and jib trimmer Allison Calhoun heading upwind on a more-typical Lake Murray day.

Former crew Justin, unable to make it to Annapolis after a recent move move to the midwest, is replaced for the Hospice Championship Regatta by another former Tutakrnaut crew, Michael Macan, who now resides in the the Annapolis area and will bring valuable J105 experience to this J24 team. We’re looking forward to racing in Annapolis!
