A clever way the regatta provided all-day donor recognition on the path between the club and the docks.
Thirty-four one-design and PHRF boats raced in the Lake Norman Hospice Regatta benefiting VIA Health Partners (Formerly Hospice and Palliative of Lake Norman). The Lake Norman YC and the hospice worked closely together on a Friday welcome party, Saturday dinner and silent/live auctions, and breakfasts both weekend days. The result? Lots of fun, good racing, and over $250,000 raised for area hospice services.
